The Academia Interamericana de Panama (AIP) is widely recognized for being a top bi-lingual school in Panama with a long tradition of producing highly qualified graduates many of whom advance to international colleges around the world. Founded in 1983, the campus is located in Costa del Este. In general, the aim of the school is to prepare students in an atmosphere of respect and support for one another, and also others, with the purpose to achieve the highest academic achievement that will enable them to be successful in the challenging and demanding world of today. In additional to academic excellence, AIP is also recognized for its stellar athletic department and sports teams known as the Fighting Owls. The AIP Fighting Owls participate in Kiwanis Football League at all levels: Micro (7-9), Mini (10-12), Juvenil/Youth (13-15) and Varsity (16-18). Last years, KFL 2012 Sub-15 League Champions, bringing them to 11-straight Championship titles (Youth category). The Fighting Owls are the most successful team in youth football in Panama today.
