The Oxford School is the first private international English/British school in Panama founded in 1984. It began as a small language school in Panama City one year earlier, offering English courses to students and professionals. Since that time the school has grown significantly and today is home to more than 900 students from preschool to the 12th grade, many of whom have shown great promise for the future in the areas of Science and Business Administration. In general, The Oxford School is committed to the fulfillment of the goals of the National Curriculum of England and the University of Cambridge International Examinations and has since 2001 introduced this international contemporary education to its secondary school program. The Oxford School has been a participant of the Kiwanis Football League (KFL) since 2010, which started with a Micro team for boys 7 to 9 years old. Today the Oxford Vikings is fully represented across the full spectrum of league categories of the KFL: Micro, Mini, Juvenil/Youth, and Varsity.
